To alleviate the trauma that affects school-aged children’s ability to achieve academic success, while helping families maintain a safe and stable home, that offers opportunities for job growth.
By supporting families today, "WE" will have less crime tomorrow.
The reason I chose to name the organization “The Rebirth of a Nation” is, I feel that when this nation was built, it was not built to be equal for all as the pledge of Allegiance may have you to believe, it was built on the system of White supremacy. In order for the nation to change, it has to be reborn; what I mean by reborn is, we have to get rid of the ideologies and systemic barriers that have been put in place, which allows certain individuals to prosper, while others suffer. So for that to take place, this nation has to start all over so that it is fair and just for all, and we can start by helping those who are struggling in our own community.
There was a time in America where we grew up with a sense of community, and looked out for one another, but we no longer have that, but the goal is to get back to that; we can gain all the individual success as possible, but what good does it do our present and future generations of kids if they grow up without love, and the essentials needed to be well-adjusted adults? You will have what you have today, extreme levels of violence, severely under educated children, dysfunctional relationships, and mental illness; we have the power to stop these things from continuing to grow in our communities, but the question is do we have the desire and willingness to really change our plight?
So the Rebirth of a Nation, is all about change; changing your thoughts, changing the system of oppression, changing our habits, changing the way we feel about others, and changing the world for the betterment of all people.
